Watching sunrise over the desert in a balloon - An absolute amazing experience floating in a balloon over the beautiful desert dunes watching sunrise. It is an early start (I travelled from Dubai) but the organisation was seamless and... read more very professionally run. The pilot was great fun giving some information to explain what we are seeing while ensuring the balloon turns so we get 360 views. The delicious champagne breakfast is in glorious setting and a great way to finish the experience. I would highly recommend ActionFlight as their attention to detail ensured we had a brilliant, very memorable experience (and I thought I may scared but far from it, I loved it!).

They do all they can to put nervous flyers at ease but honestly, there’s really nothing to be nervous about. It really is a tranquil &, I would say, an unexpectedly relaxing experience.

The staff found out it was my birthday & made a fuss by presenting me with a cake & extra bubbly whilst they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ once we landed. A nice touch.

The start time is disgustingly early, but that’s due to dawn being the best time to fly in the desert & to be honest, it’s worth the early start for the sunrise views
